The information is not just about the calories, but also includes detailed nutrition chart. It uses Google's knowledge graph to display the information in a tabular format on the right site of the search results.

Compare oranges and peaches
You can compare nutrition information for two fruits using search operator like 'Compare'. For example, if you use search string, 'Compare oranges and peaches' it will display comparisons between two fruits for calories, carbs and other vitamins.

You could compare any two fruits and could have the comparison chart as a first thing in search results. Of course, that is as long as Google has the information.

What you can't do though is compare three fruits at once. You should't need that as long as comparing two fruits work perfectly fine.
